On Monday, Norfolk Southern dropped eastbound loaded grain train 54K off on Five West in Cresson. The following day, RJ Corman crews came to take the train west. At 3:40pm on Tuesday August 15, 2017, RJC1 took the train west over Conrails former Cresson Secondary, shown here crossing Munster Road in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. On one end of the train was RJCP #7129 (SD40-2), RJCP #7084 (SD40-2), RJCP #3478 (SD40-2; snoot-nose), and RJCP #7095 (SD40-2). On the other end was the NS road power acting as a helper set, NS #9887 (C44-9W), UP #8122 (ES44AC-H), and NS #9307 (C44-9W). |
